Zero Divide (PS1) Playthorugh - NintendoComplete
A playthrough of Time Warner Interactive's 1995 fighting game for the Sony PlayStation, Zero Divide.
This is quite a bit more varied a game than the standard 32-bit fighter tended to be. The video proceeds as follows:
00:42 Playthrough on the easy difficulty level with Io
14:28 Hidden Japanese comic strip (can be viewed after beating the game on easy)
15:40 Hidden game, Tiny Phalanx, played until Game Over (accessed by holding Select+Start on controller 2 as the game is loading) - Yes, this is part of the phenomenon that is typically recognized by the game box art with the old dude playing a banjo, though it's closer to the X68000 original version than it is the SNES port. (Iirc, this is what unlocks Zulu as a playable character.)
49:19 Played through on the normal difficulty level with Zero - played using the no texture-mapped, hyper speed graphic mode.
1:00:00 Played through on the normal difficulty level with the hidden boss character Xtal, facing the game's (hidden) true final boss, Neco. - Neco is the same character that shows up in the bonus comic, and is the Zoom company's mascot.
I also want to affirm that this is the original American disc that I am playing from (not a hack, copy, burn, import, etc) - the screens that appear in Japanese seem to be things that TWI didn't really care to translate when they released the game in English.
