Should you get a 128gb or 512gb Quest 3
The Honest answer is, it depends
I personally have purchased the 128gb version. Here's why.
Now the additional storage is handy if you have a lot of games. Obviously,
For my case scenario, with 2 hours of battery life, i cant play 10 games in one sitting.
Majority of quest games are honestly around 5 to 10gbs
I would remove games or redownload when needed.
This is exactly what I do with my playstation.
Now the biggest game on the quest store currently is medal of honour
Which is around 40gb, Now that is a hefty file size.
But once I have played it, I won't be playing it for another year or so.
I just simply dont need to keep it on my console at all times.
Asgards wraith 2 is expected to be around 30gb, which if you pre order soon
You get it for free with your preorder.
The other perk is Quest + however i don't want to be stuck paying a subscription i might want to cancel and then i lose all the games i have collected.
The other perk for me purchasing that model is saving £140 which lets me purchase accessories and games.
Honestly , if you have the money then the $150 price difference is pretty good considering you get 3 times the storage.
For me when i stream my vr Games on Kick.com/Lordsi
I play most VR titles on my PC, letting me have as much storage as I want for larger and beefier games that are available on steam VR.
Which is why for my case, 128gb is enough to support the games i want when i want no wires attached experience.

A Lot of people are concerned that with graphics boost in vr games on the quest
They will absolutely require more Storage.
The quest 2 originally sold a 64gb model but with graphics increased
they changed the standard model to 128gb a couple years after release.
We could see the same thing happen with the 128gb model turning to 256gb as a default model.
However I don't think games within the next 5 years will be as intense on storage as people believe.
