"GRAD of Nature" (Revengeance Mode, No Kill)
Challenge: No Kill, Wooden Sword Only, No DLC/Wig


This is probably one of the hardest part in the game on my "Revengeance Mode & No Kill" run (Wooden Sword only, No Wig and DLC used) which I am currently streaming after work.

The problem is you are fighting TWO GRADs in a very small room with tons of explosives. You can easily get ping-pong around from the exploding barrels and comboed to death.

Took me numerous attempts to figure out the best way to take this on.

The first GRAD is STUN-RESISTANT, so you can't really keep him stunlocked, while the second GRAD in the back can be stunned so kill the second one ASAP or it is a death trap.

Take advantage of your Ripper Mode to help give you the killing blow QTE (not for damage since Wooden Sword does crap damage).

From there, you gotta make sure you don't get hit by the first GRAD's frontal cannon (does 150-250 damage PER hit).. and survive...


The upside in this fight is one of my favorite music in the game...
RULES OF NATURE!


I'm about to hit Chapter 04 today if you're interested to see this unique run.. with lots of wooden sword wacking!


Also, you CAN NOT ZANDATSU with the Wooden Sword, meaning I can't regain my Health/Fuel-Cell by that way (or shred-kill anyone). I must survive not getting hit much since I only have limited amount of life.

Was so annoyed when someone bitched at me about that on my stream saying I suck because I'm not using Zandatsu with the Wooden Sword... especially when I stated numerous time that is not possible at all.
