An unused mode that makes the battle harder...by making Liquid spam the same combo throughout the whole fight, the name "Tekken 1" comes from the debug string "go tekken 1", which gets printed on the TTY console when this mode is active.
Unfortunately, the tekken mode is riddled with bugs, if Liquid does certains things, like grabbing the edge of the Rex, he will stop moving, same thing happens if he fails to target Snake when he falls during his kick attack.
I'm not exactly sure if this mode was going to be an easter egg or if it was something the team was experimenting with for fun.
