The landmines are all located up the hill just west of guard post #15. There are a total of SEVEN landmines in the area.


There are two ways to clear out the mines:

GRAB THEM: The mines have the words "FRONT" and "BACK" printed on them. To grab them, Snake must approach them from the "BACK" side. Use the binoculars to view which side the mine is facing before grabbing them or else KA-BOOM!
SHOOT THEM: Shooting the mines is a less stressful strategy than trying to grab them all. If you plan on shooting them, make sure there are no enemies around or they will hear it!

Mark each mine on the iDroid so that you can see the distance between each one.
