Part one of a complete co-op playthrough of Metal Slug X for the Arcade (and ported to the Nintendo Wii via Metal Slug Anthology) by SNK. Tarma Roving (MacDaddyNook) and Marco Rossi (Duck) take on the New World Order as they fight their way to reach General Morden.

Metal Slug X, an enhanced version of Metal Slug 2, is a very fun run-and-gun shooter where players can blast their way through the opposing army as well as a handful of non-conventional enemies such as mummies and mutants. Scattered throughout the level are various weapon power-ups and even vehicles, the titular Metal Slugs, that players can use at their disposal.

The first stage starts out in the desert as the players fight their way through the usual army grunts, as well as tanks and helicopters. A new Metal Slug, the Camel Slug, can be found further in the level and can be ridden for better firepower. The stage's boss is a raised tank that players can run underneath to avoid attacks and still be able to damage it.
