19A game that seems straight out of the 90s… but no:
Metal Dragon is a new title for Mega Drive, released in the 21st century.
A brutal homage to Contra, Ikari Warriors, and B-movie action cinema,
with a protagonist armed to the teeth and completely unhinged humor.
Visually it's impressive for a homebrew: huge sprites, constant explosions,
and scenarios that take you from pixelated jungles to laboratories full of mutants.
The gameplay is precise, addictive, and challenging: shooting in eight directions, vehicles,
huge bosses, and weapons that make you feel invincible… until you're not.
