Poppya: While 3 Light Elements or 3 Dark Elements form the corners of a 3x3 triangle, the elements above are immediately sent. Then causes Elements above the apex of the triangle to pop. Double popped Water/Fire/Earth Elements sent. While combo is x3 or higher, Air Elements do not fall.

My personal thoughts on Poppya: Poppya is the third avatar submitted by a Japanese fan, this time by one of our first, if not *the* first, Japanese fan(s) to enter the Meteoro community, Hama. How does it hold up now that it finally made it to the game? The ability sounds scary at first (3x3 triangle formation), but it's actually really easy to put into practice. Ideally, you should get a screen wide stack going, activate the popping ability as much as you can, then match vertically to screen clear. This scores a surprising amount of points and can be a pretty powerful attack option since it continuously sends elements. What's interesting is this is the first avatar that has *some* effect with each of the 6 elements, while abilities involving elements usually only touch 1-3. Light and Dark activate the ability, Water, Fire, and Earth gain the bonus sent, and Air stops spawning when a combo gets going. Poppya is a pretty fun avatar, and I'm glad it finally got added to the game!
