The cursor gets really crazy here in Insane difficulty. There's no way any human can make movements this precise this quickly. It's almost like...DS speed. This time, I've attached the Sad Face to my little Wiralon to show that he's nervous--he's as dead as a doornail.

Look at the computer player! Do you even think I have a chance against something like that? Typically, the deal with computer players in a video game is that on lower difficulty levels, they're going easy on you. They're holding back so that you get a challenge for whatever skil level you're at. And in most games, there's one where the computer doesn't hold back. Insane difficulty in Meteos Wars is that case. It goes at maximum speed with perfect precision, and if a column fills up, goes FASTER than the maximum speed you're allowed to be at. Essentially, this is the computer player when it's given an opportunity to not go easy on you.

It turns into a test of survival. You can't effectively shut down a computer player in Insane difficulty because it'll find blocks to match up instantly and line them up in less than a second. You need to endure the match for the three minutes and hope that you somehow outscore it. Outscore is what I did...but this was not a match I could win.

The computer player has a deliberate strategy, you see, where it doesn't dump huge masses of garbage blocks. Instead, it places many medium-sized ones in quick succession, then next one popping up before the previous ones can restore themselves. This resets the countdown, and if there are few enough regular Meteos on your side, consider yourself doomed.
