Here I am again, a (somewhat) casual gamer coming into a hardcore game like this one to muck up the works. I don't have much of a clue of what I'm doing, as I've never played a fighting game prior to this.

Last time, you saw Ragna, Jin, Bang, Taokaka, and Tager. You'll be seeing some of them again in this video, but there are more this time.

Match #1
My Character: Litchi
Opponent's Character: Jin
This time, I'm on the right because I was assigned to Player 2. JesseTheImmportal specializes in Jin Kisaragi so it's really hard to get past him and his freeze moves. They stop you cold--ice cold--and stun you long enough for Jin to come over and safely clobber you. Jin's personality fits his power, as he's emotionally distant and hates everybody...quite possibly himself included. People found Jin's behavior to be a welcome change from Ky Kiske, the warm-hearted Guilty Gear character he's physically based on. Here, I'm using Litchi Faye-Ling. She's a doctor working at Orient Town and was born in Shanghai. She places great concern for her patients and seems to work in all medical fields, working with traditional Chinese medicine. She's also very busty and has Jessica Rabbit proportions. She keeps a tiny panda on her head, whose name is Liu Xiao is I remember correctly, and it's actually alive.
As for the way she fights, she uses a quarterstaff named Mantenbo as her weapon, which, like her panda, seems to have a mind of its own. She has two fighting styles: One with the pole and one without (with a few in between). More on that later.

Match #2
My Character: Noel
Opponent's Character: Bang
Listen carefuly to the background music. Does it sound familiar to you? (If you don't recognize it, it's the full version of Bang's Furinkazan theme.) Apparently, you can set the background music to be any within the game, at least among the ones you've unlocked. This is also the first match I've uploaded without Jin in it somewhere, which means you won't be seeing the big red letters, "JIN WIN" at the end this time. I've explained about Bang and how he's voiced by Tony "Ulquiorra" Oliver, so I'll focus on Noel Vermillion this time. Noel is a lieutenant in the Novus Orbis Librarium, or Library or simply NOL, a paramilitary organization designed to keep governmental secrets. Noel doesn't really know too much about what she's doing, but she's dutiful. She's rather timid and often takes the blame for other people, and she has no memories past 5 years from when this game takes place. I'll put up her story later, but I'll say that it's not the usual amnesia route story writers often take. Noel is voiced by Christina Valenzuela, who apparently mostly did fandubs before getting this role. I'd bet it's her big break, as she's a lot better of an actor than you might expect a fandubber to be. I chose an alternate color this time--there's one of her with purple skin for some reason. I like it because it's so weird.

Match #3
My Character: Taokaka
Opponent's Character: Taokaka
Here's a match with Taokaka vs. Taokaka. I'm playing as the yellow Taokaka. It's very difficulty for me to do her Distortion Drives (those big cinematic attacks; they take up 50% of the green Heat Gauge you see at the bottom), so I just made do with a flurry of little attacks. It didn't work. Taokaka is a fast character and voiced by Philece Sampler, who mostly does high-pitched spunky-girl voices, so the pace of the battle here was rapid...yet slow at the same time as Taokaka doesn't do much damage aside from charge attacks and Distortion Drives. I actually forgot how to do her charge moves...I used to. So I just resort to having her dash about the place. I was so close to a Barrier Crush in the second match. Notice how the bar below the timer begins half-red and half-blue and then becomes nearly all blue. If Jesse had guarded any more, the black Taokaka would've been frozen for a WHILE and become ride for a butt-whooping of major proportions. That's a Barrier Crush. Oh yeah, and the music here should also be familiar. This time, I'm not explaining where else in the game it's from.

Match #4
My Character: Tager
Opponent's Character: Litchi
Tager and Litchi have some special history together. If you look back to the opening video for BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, you'll see the two of them sitting next to each other. This is because Litchi is a former member of Sector Seven, an investigative group with somewhat more benevolent motives than the NOL. Tager is an active member of it. So you'll hear some voice clips from both of them that won't play with any other combination of characters. If it's too quiet to hear, Tager says, "It's me. Hmm, no reception" at the end of the second round. This goes with every character in the game--they all share plot points or are personal acquaintances with at least one other character and will thus say different things when fighting against them.
