Metroid Famicom & Famicom Disk System Capture No Mod 60fps
Here I have captured Metroid on the Famicom Disk System running on a contemporaneous, old-style Famicom (PCB HVC-CPU-07). I am using the Famicom instead of the AV Famicom so you could hear period-correct audio mixing volume levels between the internal 2A03 APU audio and the external FDS audio. You may ask why the video quality is so poor, that's the nature of RF being converted to composite via VCR. I also show off the FDSStick's menu. The gray line on the left side is generated by the Famicom. The quality is a little better when run directly to a TV but not by much.
