I acquired a PC Engine CoreGrafx last year and finally found some time to record a playthrough of one of the most unusual games to be found on a system of its time, Splatterhouse. Never before had there been a game as focused on gruesome horror.

I am playing the U.S. version, which altered the terror mask and changed its' color from white to red to avoid infringing on Friday the 13th's trademark character of Jason Voorhees. Religious crosses are also replaced.

My CoreGrafx is unmodded, so you have to put up with composite video. I am using stereo cables. Because I had to play the game by looking at the output through OBS, the added latency threw off my game to a fair extent.
