The sd2snes supports the Cx4 expansion chip used in Mega Man X2 and Mega Man X3 (and Rockman X2 & X3). It's simulation can or cannot demonstrate proper timing depending on the sd2snes In-game settings options.

The most obvious measure of accurate Cx4 timing is the attract mode of MMX2. If the timing is accurate, the attract mode sequence will end with X about to deliver the coup-de-grace to the giant robot, essentially winning the fight. If the timing is off, X will be defeated and the sequence will end early.

The sd2snes can simulate accurate timing, but the settings to achieve this are counter-intuitive. With all In-game options Off, X will lose. If you set the In-game Hooks option to On, he will win. I show both outcomes in this video using the latest sd2snes firmware. This is being captured from my Super Nt using JB v6.6, the latest jailbreak firmware available at the time this video was made.
