Samus gets to find out what all the craziness is about at Sector 3 in this video. The alarm annoyingly lets us know there is an emergency there, which "Adam" tells us that something has sabotaged the main cooling unit in the Control Room. It also tells us that Samus only has six minutes to stop the crisis before the whole station blows up! Despite how dire the circumstances seem to be, six minutes is actually quite a bit of time considering how direct the path is from the beginning of the sector to the Control Room. As you probably expected, there is a boss to fight here, but this time the X decided to go under the guise of one of the crew members stationed at the B.S.L. This fight shouldn't be too hard at all, in fact it's similar to the Elephant Bird battle from the beginning of the game. Defeating it gives Samus the Wide Beam upgrade, which is quite the powerful ability compared to what she had beforehand. There's a Missile Pack to be gotten on the way out of here, which really isn't too hard to find.
