Before Samus fights the B.O.X. Security Robot for the second time, she discovers an area she hasn't seen before, but she can't go any further because it's blocked off by a shutter. The worst part is that the computer will tell you "Warning! No entry without authorization.", and it absolutely will not stop either!! The only time you get a break from this voice is when you fight the Security Robot.

The Security Robot this time around is a bit trickier to deal with this time around, and it shouldn't be underestimated. This time, it electrifies the water underneath it, meaning Samus must shoot at it with her Missiles with the high ground. You can find a pattern for fighting it by alternating between shooting the Missiles it launches and then shooting at its center. After it blows up for the second and final time, all that's left is the Core-X that emerges from it.

After the boss battle, Samus gets the Wave Beam upgrade. This beam is awesome! Not only does it cover a wide area and shoot through a horde of enemies, but it also shoots through walls! Because of this, Samus can now open the shutter she didn't have access to before. What she finds ahead reveals a rather sinister plan that the Federation and the B.S.L. have been working on, not to mention that Ridley isn't too far away either...
