For those wondering, no, my opinion of Serris being Fake Difficulty is unchanged. The strategy being in the Nintendo Player's Guide changes nothing when NPGs have advocated glitch abuse in the past.

Gameplay starts at 6:27. Also, Security Robot BOX fight at 9:37.

So this is the part that separates 0% from 1%, namely with a Missile Tank commonly called "Bob" for being unskippable without either of two methods. The non-glitchy method, the one that could get the benefit of the doubt in my book, happens to be VERY precise. It involves setting up a Shinespark while stopping in front of the first one-way gate (right below the first Fune) then doing FOUR spin jumps to ascend the room without losing the Shinespark, and using the Shinespark charge to bust right through a purple Geron on a lower altitude than the next room's entrance. Because of this, it's reported that the leeway is only 7 frames, which with the Shinespark charge holding lasting 3 seconds in total is not as much as you may think. As a Squishy Wizard player, there's not a snowball's chance that I can achieve this reliably, but then again, I would be up for hearing a case of when the player IS expected by the game to use the Speedbooster against a purple Geron anyway. I will have to account for this later, of course. Hmm...

Oh, and also, I will want to make sure I'm never missing more than 10 Missiles at a time. If I have any fewer than 5 left, then I fail. This, however, shouldn't really happen even with Super Missiles actually being capable of decent power and thus me being at risk of throwing them about without paying attention.

As for Security Robot BOX, with the acronym never clarified what it stands for and I haven't seen the Metroid Wikis say anything about it, he doesn't deserve to be called That One Boss. The only difficulty to him is keeping manipulation of his movements consistent. Otherwise, all BOX does is jump around, which doesn't reach you if you're on the monkeybars as you should be, as well as shoot off fire bombs that just chase you away from being above BOX and just need you directly above them to avoid getting caught by their fire pillars. The fire bombs can hurt you in the middle of being thrown, but if that's too big a problem, you're being too aggressive.

...wait a minute. So we visited Sector 4 before Sector 3. Uh, sure game.
