I came up with this wanting to make a point about how Flash Bombs is surprisingly decent about handling Round 63. Not Godly, but decent. Of course, there's further reason to record about this, and that's to establish that I suspect Hero balance to center around Ninja. Uh, NinjaKiwi, not everybody uses Ninja, you know. It does make me curious what NinjaKiwi called themselves when they made the earlier BTD games because Ninja definitely wasn't in the first two. Still, Ninja and Spactory are the only two towers that innately hit Camos without any upgrades, and that does become bringing up because Etienne is...well, Etienne. This still doesn't justify Adora having performance issues regardless, since Ninja needs bottom path upgrades to do anything against Camo Leads in the first place.

...right. Master Bomber. This video displays the big problem Master Bomber has, that Master Bomber is so overly focused on singleton damage that he forgets to do anything worthwhile to clutter. Trust me: he doesn't survive Round 81 or 82 even with a Hero like Gwendolyn who actually can pass Rounds 75 and 76 without Spectre here. You see things are bad enough on Round 84, and it all comes back to the Sticky Bombs targeting Strong and thus hitting the BFBs first, and doing NOTHING about the MOABs that start filling up the screen. I have to micro the MB's Targeting so that he's keeping the MOABs from getting too far. You see how close this got. If you ask me, I think the Bombed status provided by Sticky Bomb should actually add a small AoE hitbox on explosion with an active Damage-to-Pierce ratio (I'm thinking 50 Damage (100 with MB), 5 Pierce) to at least poke the lesser blimps while avoiding too much effectiveness against Ceramic headcount. As is, Master Bomber is a let down because it likes to create MOAB floods.

And while I'm on the subject of unimpressive Ninja upgrade levels, there's Counter-Espionage from M2. I bring this up here because you might notice that I get the T1 upgrade for Ninja. I have no choice, because B1 Ninja will not survive Round 4 to allow freedom of crosspath choice with Flash Bombs and neither does M1 Ninja, so B/M Ninja isn't playable here, except with Quincy or Sauda. Ezili doesn't survive Round 4, but even if she did, I'm still citing how all 3 Heroes who can be purchased immediately hit Camo innately, so Decamo becomes redundant. Here's the bottom line for those who didn't get it: Middle Path Ninja is support without question. Middle Path Ninja needs setup as a whole to get anywhere, and therefore relies on being carried by other towers such as the Hero to survive. Counter-Espionage is not useful with the Inexpensive Trio, and while it's not the first upgrade to do nothing with Etienne fielded, it still becomes worth pointing out just because Etienne could always have other towers far less capable of hitting Camos around. I get that Flash Bombs and Sticky Bombs would get to Decamo DDTs, but I think Counter-Espionage should have had other benefits in the first place to improve the crosspaths.
