[Metroid] Oh, Are These Them? Running the Final Gauntlet! @ Ep. 5
1In this episode, we're finding our way from where we killed Kraid to where Mother Brain is awaiting us! Before we can face down that bodyless bitch, though, we need to run the gauntlet of metroids -- the OG's! They do a lot of damage and they can be annoying to deal with, but I actually end up liking them a lot more than other enemies in the game because they always drop a ton of resources when they die, and resource-management is the true final boss of this game. Speaking of the final boss, though, we do raid Mother Brain's chamber by the end of the episode, but there's just no way -- it's too damn frustrating! We'll beat the game in the next one, though, or my name isn't Laramore...!
