So now Samus reaches Sector Two and battles one of the BOTTLE Ship's last remaining bioweapons; The Nightmare, the one we use to fight back in Metroid Fusion. Samus knocks it out for the time being as she approached Sector Zero, to which apparently the BOTTLE Ship begins to move as if it's heading somewhere. She eventually comes across a baby Metroid floating around the empty sector, only to be frozen by Adam with a Freeze Gun...? Why did Adam do this? I have no idea this scene left me confused.
So then it turns out the people in the BOTTLE Ship had the audacity to try and tamper with the Metroid's vulnerability to the cold, now making it nigh-impossible to destroy these things. Adam then decided to just go out with a bang, heading into Sector Zero to destroy the Metroids himself. After a little mourning, Samus goes all the way back to Sector 1. At least she's got the Gravity Suit.
