Samus is all that's left in the BOTTLE Ship, having returned to see James dead on the ground (oh yeah, he's The Deleter by the way, given how his uniform is messy and how he was the one that got to the Exam Center first instead of Lyle. Then also proceeds to freeze KG and toss him into the lava of Sector 3 making him go MIA. Also considering that he was the Comms Expert, it would explain why he was able to hinder the other soldier's communication with each other, however, he didn't expect Samus to be joining, hence why her communications still function). And then she came across a rotting corpse of Ridley, which will probably be moved to the BSL soon.
There is a survivor, but she hides for a moment, while Samus fights a Queen Metroid, killing it with a powerbomb. By that point, the BOTTLE Ship is in Galactic Federation orbit, as Samus and survivor, the actual Madeline Bergman discuss what has been going on within the station. Turns out MB was an android, meant to replicate Mother Brain, to control the Metroids. So when the researchers tried to take her away, she fought back, telepathically making all the creatures hostile with everything descending into madness. But thankfully her plan was foiled.
But then out of the blue MB shows back up, and not only that, more Galatic Federation soldiers join the fray as they try to apprehend MB. A small battle ensues, which came to a halt as Madeline freezes MB, causing her death. The Colonel tries to stop Samus from interacting with Madeline, but thankfully Anthony intervenes in time. Eventually, things rolled smoothly, although Samus has one last thing to do.
