Samus finds the ultimate result of the Space Pirate's research: the Omega Pirate.

Omega Pirate is arguably the hardest boss in the game for the uninitiated. It can be difficult to keep the right distance from it (too close and it melees you, too far it fires powerful, hard to avoid projectiles that can take almost a full energy tank away) and when you do destroy its armor pieces, the minions it spawns can also really chip away at your health while you're focused on trying to find the invisible Omega Pirate via the X-Ray Visor. If that wasn't enough, there are also Phazon pools that can also take away from your health and are very easy to accidentally step in.

Once you figure him out though, he's not too bad to manage. You want to stay a middle distance from him as he'll use his shockwave attack at mid-range, which is easy to avoid unlike the other two attacks. When it turns invisible, I would clear out the Troopers quickly when they spawn as you're given some time before Omega Pirate shows itself via the X-Ray Visor. When it does show itself (usually on the end of the arena opposite of where you are), fire away with a Super Missile or Ice Spreader shot.

In addition, the Trilogy version carries over the PAL changes in that Troopers can be killed with Power Bombs, which can help make this fight easier by quickly clearing them out with one.

Yes, I also forgot that Omega Pirate himself is vulnerable to Power Bombs in his visible form in this version (which makes the fight in this version even easier) and a trick to prevent Troopers from spawning when he turns invisible by laying a Power Bomb right when he calls for his minions. I might make another video later as a bonus video showing that off.
