There are hardly any recordings of this mode, but this is currently the fastest claimed time I'm aware of for this mission. The routing here is pretty tight, but there's enough variability to save ~0.5 seconds without rerouting. Also, no special in this route; I'm not sure if it could be routed in effectively, but I can't rule out the possibility.

This route attempts to get into combat mode as fast as possible in order to transition Omega Pirate to a more vulnerable state for the quick kill. The first shot is frame perfect, but subsequent shots are 2-3 frame windows. The shot to enter combat mode may vary depending on the timing of Omega's wave blast, but there are multiple possibilities that don't lose too much time.

The final shot on Omega is a little complicated, but not excessively difficult. You need to deal damage from a ball strike, 1 normal bomb, and a power bomb. Omega Pirate can walk either left or right (it's random), so I aim left since it's potentially faster. If he walks right, it's a reset.

There's a bit of button mashing for the final blow. You generally want to drop a normal bomb on contact, but you do have 3 bombs, chance for a 2nd hit off the left flipper, exploding a bomb by proximity coming off the flipper, etc. The initial shot is probably 2-3 frame window, but doing the attack like this gives you several outs.
