This run is a slight reroute of the previously fastest run by Wilder Joe. It is not entirely clean (partially because I do not remember all the keyboard shortcuts), and it could likely benefit from more crafty use of Force Commander.

I suppose you can expect more Dawn of War speedruns from me in the near future. However, seeing as it has been 2.5 years since I published my speedrun of the tutorial -- https://youtu.be/8ivwLTFnDiQ -- it's more reasonable to assume I will be done with Mission 2 no later than July 2021 ;)


ROUTE NOTES

1. The main route change is to bypass the 1st ork camp initially and attack it late with an 3rd squad (armed). This is pretty automatic since they only need to take down a single hut, and they can easily withstand the banner fire.

2. Despite being listed as primary objectives, you do not need to capture 3 strategic points nor build a listening post on one of them. Capturing the 1st point early seems like an obvious choice for the req gains. You could probably get by without capturing a 2nd, but it's super free to pick up while you wait for your squad to develop.

3. Banners and turrets are non-critical structures, so I mostly ignore them. The only one I choose to actively take down is the central banner in the 3rd camp, merely to reduce chip damage. On normal difficulty, they are not much of a factor.

4. I like using groupings a lot, but I'm not doing it very efficiently in this run. Too often I make Force Commander do a 180 when I could have selected a different group. Still, this is slightly better then having him wander off.

5. One thing I didn't do in this run: you can scuttle the plasma gen after it's built to get a decent req boost late if needed. This generator is mostly useless, since you're given way more power than you'll ever need.
