*This is why you don't disturb someone's beauty sleep. Chykka swims around the ring of water, summoning Dark Shredders to attack Samus. Its main attack is to jump from the water and belly flop back in, spitting black sludge and sending a wave of purple water. The second attack has Chykka land on the platform and, using its tongue, grabbing on to Samus, reeling her in to vomit purple sludge over her. Chykka can be attacked with the Super Missile, but its fast movement, particularly when splashing, makes the Beam Combo attack hard to land. Instead, rely on the Light Beam's Charge Shot; to refill the Light Beam's ammo should you run out, kill the Dark Shredders with your Dark Beam.
In the second stage, Chykka turns into a moth-like being. It still retains its sludge attack, which it can use to knock you off the broken-apart platforms. It also charges up for a ramming attack, so try to avoid that by swinging over to another platform. With even faster movement, it flaps away Missiles and Super Missiles, so don't try those. Instead, the Aetherian weapons are more effective. When stunned, swing around it for the four weak points at the joints of its wings. Shoot Missiles, Super Missiles, or even better, Seeker Missiles at those points. This knocks Chykka into the water, converting it to Dark Chykka. In this new form, it retains the same attacks but now spawns Chykklings to attack. These little bugs are minor annoyances at worse and ammo at best, meaning your focus should be the giant moth.
