Metroid: Ripped Worlds [3/3] - Final Boss Defeated; Later: Samus Wins without Starting the Fight
In this episode, I beat the Final Boss again with split-out audio so it's not blocked in some countries. After winning, I go back and find a major exploit that allows me to beat the final boss without even starting the fight. So I do that partially and then fully, to where I get the final explosion and end-game "Fin" screen without even going inside the battle arena. Fun game overall, but some silly exploits that could have used some refinements, lol.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy! This is an old style Metroidvania, and it's worth a play if you like these types of games. There are a few things that could definitely be touched up, but for what it is, it's pretty fun. This may have been made in the 'Click and Create Studio' era (post-Klik n Play, but pre-Multimedia Fusion/Clickteam Fusion) since it's really old, and it comes with cncs32.dll (note the acronym in the dynamic linked library's file name). I made a bunch of games in Klik n Play way back when it was young, so good times, lol. Played on Hard difficulty.
Final additional things from this episode that could be improved so far:
- Final boss shouldn't be able to be beaten by hitting its placeholder graphic/asset/'Active' object outside the level
- Boss' Head Projectile should only spawn when you're in the arena and in the actual fight
- Two of those Boss' Head projectiles shouldn't spawn
- Movement of that Boss' Head Projectile should be revised -- Clickteam's Bounce physics isn't clean here and often takes odd or unfair paths.
- No health recovery or missile recovery during the boss battle makes it kind of stale.
- Infinite hit detection by the boss should be revisited -- invulnerability should be for a short time period to prevent infinite hits with one unique collision.
- Damage from assets outside the level shouldn't hurt the player, really...
- The area you should be able to access with Tails should be limited to the top and to a point where you can grab that E-Tank, but not beyond that.

So Scott made an old fangame, and apparently there are multiple versions of it. I had a request from a Redditor to play this to see if I could get past the lag at the final boss to finish the game, so here's part 3 of 3. The game is pretty decently put together, and Samus takes on various bosses in Nintendo history...and also Scott Cawthon in one area, too. May as well, right? I do find some really major exploits in this 3-part series, so it was pretty fun to play and find those. Apparently you don't even have to enter the final boss room to win.

I usually have a pretty busy schedule, but I try to make time to relax and play some of these games.
