Path to config files:
C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\MGSDelta\Saved\Config\Windows
And there we will need two files - Engine.ini and GameUserSettings.ini.
But before you do anything with them, copy them to a separate folder in case you are not satisfied with something and you want to return everything back.
In Engine.ini, write the following at the end of the file:
[/Script/Engine.RendererSettings]
r.Shadow.Virtual.Enable=0 - Removes virtual shadows (traditional shadows are launched)
r.Lumen.TraceMeshSDFs=0 - Simplifies lighting
r.VolumetricFog=0 - Removes fog
r.VolumetricCloud=0 - Removes clouds
r.Nanite.MaxPixelsPerEdge=4 - Simplifies geometric detailing
After that, save the changes in the Engine.ini file and check the "Read only" box in the file properties so that the parameters do not get lost during subsequent launches.
In GameUserSettings.ini, change the following:
Find the line [ScalabilityGroups] and under it there will be two parameters we need.
1. Post Process Quality - set the value there to 0, this removes post-processing.
2. Effects Quality - set the value to 1, this will simplify the effects.
After that, save the changes in the GameUserSettings.ini file and check the "Read only" box in the file properties so that the parameters do not get lost when launching the next ones.
