Speed Test of Athlete and Climber Skills of Staff members from Mother Base in game Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. By timing how long it takes to climb, crawl, and run over a fixed distance, you can determine how Skills affect staff members. Video shows three comparison tests. First is a speed test of climbing ladders. Second is a speed test of crawling over pavement. Third is a run speed test over a long distance at the airport. The participants for run test are: Athlete, Snake (Mobility +3), D-Horse, D-Walker, Cyborg Ninja, Raiden, and a regular no skilled staff. Similarly, crawling speed and climbing speed are tested on Climber, no skilled staff, Raiden, and Snake (Mobility +3 prosthetic arm). Determined results are that Raiden and Cyborg Ninja are not affected by Athlete Skill. One thing odd is that climbing ladders is not considered a Climbing Skill, but crawling is! It seems the term Climbing pertains to climbing cliffs, not ladders. Each measured participant has a stopwatch time, and when they reach the finish line, the clock is stopped for comparison.
