Quick guide to get the Research Points to craft all that MR Layered Armour. Should take you a couple of hours to get all the RP via this technique; you just gotta get the Research Commision Ticket+ and Great Spiritvein Gems now...

Text Version:
1. Get a (prefereably Elder Dragon) Investigation with Flourishing Frozen Foliage
2. Eat for Felyne Harvester (faster gathering point respawns) and Felyne Exchanger (more RP)
3. Fly in to Area 5
4. Go into the Cave at the top of Area 2. Pick up the 5 Frozen Foliage Spawns (including one Petalcryst spawn). Grab some fish with the net while you're there.
5. Fly up to Area 15.
6. Head East and get the 4 Frozen Foliage at the top of the Area 15.
7. Head South to grab the 2 Frozen Foliage at the borders between Areas 15 and 7.
8. Grab the 2 Frozen Foliage next to one another in the same are to the West.
9. Continue heading West and grab 3 more Frozen Foliage before the open field (all three are invisible on the map without other skills)
10. Repeat from Step 3. If you did the above fast, then grab the Butterbur to the south of the Area 2 Cave to give it time to respawn. The Petalcryst will also only appear every second cycle.
