Estoril is a real life portuguese circuit which was used for F1 events and moto gp and basically the most famous circuit in the country.
Tracks based on real life circuits are not rare but they never get as much atention, maybe because the real life physics dont translate well to trackmania or the visuals don't match.
Tamote took another aproach on mixing a variery of assets, micro machines from the top down view and sega rally 2 which where the sounds came from.
It's a bit tricky to play in top down view, you have to react before the turn happens, even with the co-pilot guidance you still have to atempt the track a few times until you get a good run.

Before you ask... YES! this is the same tamonte who made Venice Challenge, Elvenpath, GTA SS and Fullmoon...
Quite a peculiar carreer he had, he only got recognized in his final 5 tracks, where before he barely had any in his previous works.
It might not be the fanciest ofc, by sept 2006 we already had some bangers but to this date, this track never got a single award... ever...
I think this is my first showcase of a track with 0 awards which I mean, this is not the most unique super duper track ever but the effort was there and it's quite alright, expecially that last jump where the car almost hits the camera, that's a neat effect.
Items are long gone for a track made in 2006 so, I improvised a bit. The indication arrows were made by me imported from the old colinmcrae 2 game (special thanks to my friend wraith for the help), but the sounds which were imported from sega rally 2 were the original tamonte used.
