Make no mistake about it, Microsoft is not playing when it comes to Xbox. And if you thought they were, and chose not to believe them after they acquired several new studios some time ago, then their latest acquisition might grab your attention, as Miccrosoft has dropped $7.5 billion down to become the parent company of Zenimax. If you didi not know, Zenimax owns Bethesda, who is responsible for some of the most sought after games on the market, such as Fallout, Elder's Scroll and many others to name a few.
In this latest acquisition games like DOOM, Wolfenstein, Dishonored, and others could realistically become Xbox-platform exclusives, that is if Microsoft deems it necessary. According to the latest updates, while Microsoft plans to honor the working relationship established by both Bethesda and Sony concerning games such as Deathloop and Ghostwire Tokyo as timed-exclusives, future games will be available on Xbox Series consoles and PC, while the decision to add future games on competing platforms will be on a game by game basis.
