It has been a long time since I mentioned the Elite 1 or 2, because no matter how good they were, I couldn't recommend them due to quality control issues, with many shipping with stick drift and jammed A buttons. Fast forward and word on the street is Microsoft has tightened up QC at the factory, there is a new program for PC that unlocks some great features, and most importantly the Series 2 STILL has a couple features that literally no other premium controller has. If you own an Elite, or are considering purchasing one, I strongly recommend you watch the entire video.
