Microsoft skipping one of the 3 biggest game show events is big news, but ditching the Japanese centered TGS is the right thing to do from a standpoint of saving money. The Japanese will never support Xbox, invest that money elsewhere. Sony on the other hand is winning Europe, so skipping the biggest show over there is perplexing to say the least.
