[Mighty Aphid] Retro Style Games "Beautiful, but boring..."
2*****LIVESTREAM CANDID REVIEW AND GAMEPLAY****
Not sure what the developers were going for with this game. At first glance, it looks Megaman inspired, but barely shares any of the mechanics that make a Megaman game. It has an element from the first Shinobi game, having to rescue all of the "hostages" before being able to complete the level. Once you get your "wings" resource management goes from easy to painfully annoying. Why take the free double jump away? The music is dull and overall, this game falls flat. The ONLY positive I could find are the graphics. Very PC Engine/Tubrografx 16, which I like.
The final verdict for this game is it's a hard pass and a 4/10.
