So it's time to go deal with the source of this madness at the Battle Colosseum, which looks like the final area of Battle Network 2. There's a lot of shifting platforms a bound here, as well as these Proto-Xel blocks which can be destroyed, but regenerate when there's blocks adjacent to them. At the end of all this awaits Trinity.

So Trinity's first phase is entirely based on one type of attack. She will send out bits of Xel at you and then suck them all back in afterwards. There are 3 different ways she will do this. The first type, the one that always begins the battle, is very akin to how most Devil bosses work, as she sends pieces out horizontally in a pattern. Said pattern is different depending on the difficulty. The second type has her go high in the air while 3 platforms raise up, and then she rains down Xels across the field. Lastly, she will go to the center of the screen, while platforms raise around the room, and then spray Xels all around the room. Rinse and repeat until defeat.

As for the second form, it's main method of attack is to simply move into you, and since she's too tall to go over, we need to fix that. You'll have to damage and absorb her lower sections in order to lower the head and damage it. Cryosphere works great here as it slows her down all while constantly damaging her. After going through this twice, she will appear in the center and spray out Xels like a geyser. Best way to avoid this to get rid of the lower sections to reduce the range of the attack. After reaching the halfway point, Trinity will appear from one of the walls, invulnerable to damage, and will spray an attack all across the screen. She will travel across the room while doing so, and you'll have to move between the gaps to avoid damage. Once you reduce all of Trinity's health, she will become invincible until she goes offscreen, then she will reappear in the center and pretty much explode, exposing her core.
