So after my first run through, I think it's time for my more standard run of the game.

It is the year XXXX, robotics are super advanced and humanity has prospered because, we're all very familiar with this. And much like said familiar territory, the robots start going berserk. Our hero, Beck arrives in the city and meets up with his creator, Dr. White, who he must escort to his lab in order to help solve what's causing these robots to go berserk.

So Mighty No. 9 is a Mega Man-styled game, you can jump and you can shoot, no wall jump, but you do have a dash. Said dash is your main way of finishing off enemies as you have to dash through weakened enemies to absorb them, and said dash can be used how ever many times as you want.

Our intro boss, Round Digger, is as simple as most intro bosses. He has 3 attacks at his disposal, one is to charge at you. Simply jump and dash over him. He can fire off little bombs that home in on you after a while. Destroying them before they hit you nets you a "Fine Play" bonus. Lastly, it has a laser that it will fire at the ceiling forwards and backwards. When it heads back, blocks will fall from the ceiling. When it comes to bosses, after you get their health to a certain point, they will glow purple. This is your opportunity to dash into them. If you don't do it quick enough they will start regaining some of their health back. __
