Transcript:
In the 21st century, worldwide socialism overtakes capitalism. The government automated the workforce with robotics and managed its citizens daily lives to achieve equality. Competition was eradicated and an everlasting peace was seemingly underway, but the citizens grew bored and restless.
Using the Xel technology of Dr. Blackwell, the government developed the robotic competition known as "The Battle Colosseum" to entertain the masses. Many inventors developed robots for the competitions, but none were more popular than The Mighty Numbers, a team of nine robots invented by Dr. White.
Unfortunately during one competition, eight of the Mighty Numbers were infected with a mysterious computer virus. Numbers One through Eight went rogue and took over key buildings in the city in order to infect all robots. The only robot unaffected was the weakest of the Mighty Numbers, Number Nine, the robot named Beck.
As Beck, you must battle the eight corrupted members of your team with the help of a young robot named Call. Armed with the ability to "kickstart", "transform" and "delay for several months", you'll blast your way through corrupted robots, discover the mysterious villain behind the virus, and make all the haters think twice before they call you Mega Man*.
