Miley Cyrus alludes to the fact that she is actually a better role model than Taylor Swift (or that Taylor Swift is a worse role model than her)...

Many people suggest that Miley Cyrus simply said that to gain attention, which may very well be truth. But part of me feels like she actually believes it, and even if she doesn't her fans might fall for it. So I decided to discuss it. I do think western society glorifies violence and often shames sexuality, which is probably the real basis of Miley's comment, but her example was horrible, and the idea that she may be a better role model than Taylor Swift is simply laughable.

But what do you think? Do you agree with Miley?


PS: I actually like Miley, and I like a lot of her songs. FU from Bangerz is my jam! I just don't think she's a good role model, and I thought she knew it too. She seemed to have made a conscious decision to not be one.
