The Interview CANCELLED, In Sony's Defense
56Sony cancelled the release of The Interview, and here's my defense for that decision...

Like a lot of people, I agree that the movie should have been released anyways, which I explained in the video. But I'm seeing a lot of people BASHING and hating on Sony for making a decision that is not necessarily a wrong decision. It'd not an easy decision, because Sony invested millions of dollars in the movie that they don't wanna lose. But they also have to think of the lives of people that could potentially be lost if they do nothing after the threats of 9/11 type of attacks. If they did nothing and people died as a result of it, the backlash would be much worse than it is now. And yes it sucks that the terrorists won this battle, but let's not pretend like there was a clear cut way of going about this. As far as I know the hackers haven't even been identified, so is risking the lives of families worth it just to stand your ground? I don't know. It's all just very complicated, and that's what I wanted to bring up with this video.
