Correcting some misconceptions about introverts...

As I've said before I'm an introvert, and that's something that has helped me understand why I am the way I am, and to embrace just who it is that I am. But there are still many misconceptions about introversion out there, and I wanted to rectify that. Many people wrongfully believe or assume things about introverts that's simply not true.

Here's a list that summarizes what I said in the video:

Introverts don't hate people
Introverts value friendship
Introverts don't wanna be alone all the time
Introverts aren't shy
Introverts like to party
Introverts aren't quiet
Introverts don't need to be forced outside
Introverts have feelings
Introverts like extroverts
Introverts don't want to be extroverts

And yes, of course there are introverts out there who probably hate people, introverts who are horrible friends, introverts who hate having people around at all times, introverts who are extremely shy, introverts who want nothing to do with parties, introverts who never talk, introverts who'll never go out unless you force them, introverts who lack feelings, and probably many introverts who wish they could be extroverts. But my point is that these aren't traits of being an introvert. The point is that BEING AN INTROVERT doesn't make you hate people. You can hate people whether you're introverted or extroverted, that's not what causes it, it's just another part of you. So let's stop generalizing, and realize what being an introvert truly is, and what it isn't.
