This design is based on a pretty well-known farm design with a few of my own improvements, mainly in the area of cost reductions. over the traditional 8 buckets of water in dispensers design, this requires a single bucket to transport water, two pistons, and anywhere from 1 to 8 hoppers, depending on what you want.

This single change brought the minimum system cost from 29 iron to a mere 10 iron, making it much more starter friendly.
