Today Mojang released the 14w05a snapshot featuring barriers and spectator mode
Notable changes:
A minecart on an activator rail shakes and ejects entities
A written book get an "original" tag, its copies are then "copy of original"
Spectator mode (3), you do not collide with blocks or entities, can look in but not modify tile entity inventories, do not appear except to other spectators, can take the camera of ther entities
Barriers, blocks with no texture that act like regular solid blocks.
