I made 3 simple yet fast automatic bush farms and firefly bush farm for Minecraft new update 1.21.5 Java or 1.21.70 BE. Each is easy and cheap to build and makes 18,000 firefly bushes/hr or 18,000 bush per hour which is max dispenser speed. These work in Java 1.21.5+ and Bedrock Edition (first and last designs work for BE).
