Minecraft Flans Mod Cold War Ships - Devblog #73
625The latest iteration of the Tyrants and Plebeians flans mod server and mod pack has ended, and work on the next one has already begun.
In the previous server iteration, ships were neglected and entirely excluded from the mod pack, but now they are back and better than ever. With the next pack focusing on the late cold war, I specifically focused on adding Soviet Russian and American ships built between the end of World War II and the Fall of the Soviet Union. As of the completion of this video, the in-game Soviet navy has grown from three to eight vessels including fully functional missile cruisers, carriers and submarines.
The functionality of aircraft carriers has also been further refined since the previous devblog, with a more immersive landing system and aircraft weight limitations that will prevent silly scenarios like loading 20 ton fighter jets onto World War II carriers built for lightweight propeller planes.
