The latest iteration of our Minecraft modded flans mod server was released last month, and many massive battles were held. The skirmish system from the previous devblog was also a success, promoting massive 40-man battles during weekdays. However, the infamous seat-kick glitch, which has cursed flans mod multiplayer servers for almost ten years, ruined these epic fights. So I once again attempted to fix or diminish the seat kick problem.

This time, I tried optimizing flans mod's network code. This failed to defeat seat kicks, but managed to improve server performance. I then tried modifying the previous seat kick fix into a more stream-lined, less noticeable version which seems to work well enough to mask the problem. Hopefully these band-aid fixes will be sufficient?
