You want find your Level.dat file in your minecraft folder. To open this you will want to hit browse. My minecraft was under my %appdata%. Once you get that file loaded the next thing you want to do is load your game. Once in your game you will need to dig down to at-least to the 16th level and deeper. Once there you will want to hit F3, this will bring up a graph with numbers in your game.

After this pops up you will want to look at the X and Z axis numbers. These two numbers you will want to put into the two boxes are are directly under the text that says

after that, you will want to put a distance, if you put in 20, the program will show you 20 blocks from where your standing all around you.Any slimes that will show up on your map will be within 20 blocks of you. You just dig now until you feel you have hit that areas.
