Watch the rather quick process of me making a gravel door that follows these steps.

1. Build a solid door frame.
2. Dig 2 deep underneath the door frame and dig out 1 block under the frame.
3. Place normal pistons on one side you dug out and leave the other empty.
4. Place redstone across the pistons and connect to a button.
5. Overall, the depth underneath your door frame should be its height +1.
6. Place solid blocks in front of the pistons.
7. Fill up the door frame with gravel or sand.
8. Press the button and watch your door open!
9. Walk through the door and finish the job... like a boss!
