Here I show off a giant sorter and the item transport system that gets items to it.

The item sorter currently sorts 30 different item types. All the items are created by the machines I've shown off in the past few videos, and all the machines are withing about 150 blocks of the sorter.

I use a system of chest carts to move the items from the different machines into the sorter. Because constantly moving carts can have there position glitch and may cause lag, I built a mechanism that pauses the carts for sever minutes between runs to the various machines, unless the carts currently have items in them (which is detected using a compairator next to a detector rail), in which case they skip waiting and make another run to the machine (as there may be more items to pick up).

The Iron Trench, Mob Farm, and Witch Farm each have their own cart, while the gold, melon, sugar cane, wheat, carrot, potato, coco bean farms, and the chicken, pig and cow cookers share a cart (some of those are manually run, and the rest produce items at a slow rate, so that line doesn't have a long delay, but does stop the cart for about 10 seconds on each run).
