1) Zombie Pigmen will not attack you if you do not attack them
2) If you attack just one zombie pigman then you are attacking ALL of them because they will all chase after you until you destroy them or else they destroy you (or you get far enough away for them to despawn).
3) you are better off just leaving them all alone
