Minecraft PS4 Edition - How To Make A Nether Portal Without A Diamond Pickaxe
23Sorry about another long absence, a lot's been going on is all. Chances are you've probably gotten stuck at some point or another cause you can't seem to find any diamonds to make a diamond pickaxe to be able to mine obsidian to make a nether portal or maybe even when you do finally find diamonds, it was probably only 1 or 2, and you need 3 to make a diamond pickaxe. If your really desperate to get to the Nether to continue through the game, there is another way to make the portal. First check to make sure you have 2 buckets which you'll need 6 iron ingots for, one filled with water & one empty, some spare blocks and a lava pool on the surface somewhere in your world. Doesn't have to be on the surface but it's a hell of a lot more convenient. And of course a flint & steel to light your portal when it's done. Then just do as I did in the video. Make sure your placing the lava first before the water, that's the only way you get obsidian. Doing it the other way around just gets you cobblestone. This is more of a beginner friendly video that just simply shows you how to do it as I'm still mostly a beginner myself at this.
