Having now posted my TXR0 tire comparison video just earlier today, I knew I had to do it for TXR3 too so here it is. Although things will be different here, as the graphics & physics engine underwent a major overhaul from TXR0 so the cars drive a lot more realistically than before. That combined with the much sharper turns on the game's oval test track make getting an accurate measurement of the capabilities of each set of tires much more difficult even though the turns here are heavily banked when the test track on TXR0 had virtually none at all. Reason it's more difficult mainly being due to the tires slipping while turning hard which is why I'm again using a 4WD car to minimize this. Wanted to use Jintei's (Speed King's) Skyline like I did last time but the only thing you can mess with on custom cars is the engine so that was a no go. So I took a Subaru Impreza WRX, maxed it out and tested all 3 sets of tires on the game's approx 3.5 mile oval test track. The fact that this game has dry & wet conditions which TXR0 didn't makes this even more interesting as we had to do 6 tests altogether to see what each set of tires could do in both dry & wet roads.
